Remember, this outing is nothing more than a group of online friends meeting to enjoy the hobby we spend the rest of the year chatting about online. Some board members have volunteered their time to help organize the event, and for this we should all be grateful. All funds collected by the coordinators from those in attendance are used to purchase the shirts, plagues, and door prizes. Nobody makes a profit from this event!!! Therefore, the organizers are in no way, shape, or form liable for any unfortunate happenings that any in attendance might encounter.
In other words, if you break your stuff, you fix your stuff. Of course, I'm sure all in attendance will be more than willing to help you fix it, and harass you mercilessly about it too.
